Police College wins Universities Futsal Tournament Trophy
Police College team claimed the title of the first edition of Universities Futsal Tournament 2023 , following a convincing 2-5 victory over the opponents Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College in the final game held at the Qatar University’s sports & events complex on Saturday.
Both finalists produced fantastic performance full of determination and sportsmanship, Police College got better of its opponents to win the title, as Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College settled in the runner-up place. In the clash for third and fourth places Qatar University won 3-1 to seized the third place and University of Doha for Science and Technology took the fourth place.
Tournament closing scene on Saturday was attended by board members of the QCSF, senior officials from Police College Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College and high education institutions , participating teams, partners and big number of students and fans.
At the medal ceremony, QCSF President Dr. Ibrahim Bin Saleh Al-Naimi and the QCSF Secretary General, Mr. Rashid Adiba, crowned the winners with the trophy and gold medals, as runner-up team… seized the silver medals and the bronze medal went to team……………….
Most notably, this opening edition of Universities Futsal Tournament 2023 that organized by the QCSF from 26th of March to 8th April at the Qatar sport Arena , has brought together a number of high education institutions , Qatar University (hosts ), University of Doha for Science and Technology, AFG College with University of Aberdeen, Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College, Police College and Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
QSCF is putting best efforts to make 2022-2023 sport activity plan applicable through a group of mechanisms that will help its strategic goals being achieved at both domestic and international levels.
