The General Assembly of the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation (QCSF) has re-elected H.E Dr. Ibrahim Bin Saleh Al-Nuaimi as President for the 2024–2028 term during the QCSF’s meeting held at the Qatar Olympic Committee building on Sunday.

The meeting also featured the election of Mr. Rashid Saeed Adiba as General Secretary of the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation, along with the selection of the Board of Directors for the 2024–2028 term.

Sunday’s General Assembly meeting was chaired by Dr. Ibrahim Bin Saleh Al- Al-Nuaimi, President of QCSF and attended by the QCSF Secretary General, members of QCSF Board of Directors, General Assembly members, representatives of Ministry of Education and Higher Education, representatives of the QOC and representatives of High Education Institutions.

The General Assembly members approved the minutes of the previous meeting , reviewed key administrative , financial and technical reports. They also reviewed the calendar for the 2024–2025 sports season and set forth strategic plans to propel university sports to unparalleled levels of excellence and success.

In his address to the General Assembly, the QCSF President, H.E Dr. Ibrahim Bin Saleh Al- Al-Nuaimi, expressed his gratitude to the members of the General Assembly for their trust and support, as well as for re-electing him for a new term (2024–2028). He also praised the collective efforts of all higher education institutions in the country, sports federations, partners, sponsors, and the staff of the QCSF , which have resulted in outstanding achievements in previous sports seasons.

H.E QCSF President has confirmed that university sports in Qatar promise a bright future and are progressing rapidly toward turning the slogan “Sports Inspire Education” into a true reality. This is being achieved by attracting an increasing number of students annually to participate in tournaments organized under the umbrella of the QCSF .
