Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation holds General Assembly
The Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation held its first regular General Assembly meeting for the sport season 2023 at the Qatar Olympic Committee’s building on Monday.
The meeting was chaired by President of Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation, Dr. Ibrahim Bin Saleh Al-Naimi , attended by the QCSF Secretary General, Mr. Rashid Adiba and members of the QCSF General Assembly Meeting who met the AG a quorum.
In Monday’s meeting , members have together approved the QCSF board report on its works of the ended year 2022, they ratified the QCSF’s balance sheet for fiscal year 2022, reviewed draft estimated budget of the year 2023 and fixing out membership fees as per the statute.
On the same track of making sports day in and day out lifestyle and improve students talents and skills, the meeting has reviewed how the sport activity plan works out and how can they keep it going in 2022-2023 season, as they also set up mechanisms to raise up students participation rate in all tournament organized by QCSF.
Proposals received from high education institutions, high colleges and high military institutes for development of student’s technical performance and bettering their skills and talents , have been discussed during the meeting.
Most notably, the General Assembly has unanimously approved the requests of high education institutions to join the membership of QCSF General Assembly.
In a post-meeting statement , the QCSF Secretary General, Mr. Rashid Adiba said we are truly feel pride, gratitude and complacency to see such a rising response and positive participation from high institutions in this ongoing inaugural tournaments, as we hopefully can see more Universities and high colleges to be part of our sport tournaments.
