QCSF University Cricket and Table Tennis Tournaments Kick off
The 2024-2025 QCSF University Cricket and Table Tennis tournaments kicked off on Sunday, with competitions held at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) courts and the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) arena.
On the opening day of competitions, Qatar University secured a 125-65 victory over Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and the second game and University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) got better of Northwestern University in Qatar 139-23.
The QCSF is organizing the University Cricket tournament ( for male students) , in collaboration with the Qatar Cricket Association and UDST ( host institution). The tournament runs from November 3rd to 12th, featuring teams from various educational institutions, including Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), Qatar University, Northwestern University in Qatar, and the host institution, UDST.
Notably, the QCSF is committed to fostering the growth of cricket among students, recognizing it as a vital team sport that enhances physical fitness, stability, and endurance.
The QCSF University Table Tennis Tournament for the 2024-2025 sports season kicked off at the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) Arena, organized by the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation (QCSF) in collaboration with the Qatar Table Tennis Association and hosted by CCQ on November 3rd and 4th.
On the first day, Qatar University (QU) defeated Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) 2-0, while CCQ overcame the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) with a 2-0 score. HBKU then won against UDST 2-1, QU defeated CCQ 2-1, QU beat UDST 2-0, and CCQ claimed victory over HBKU 2-0.
Several universities and colleges are participating in the University Table Tennis tournament , including the University of Doha for Science and Technology, Qatar University, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Texas A&M University, Lusail University, and the Community College of Qatar.
