The QCSF met today, October 2, 2024, at Qatar Foundation with representatives of the universities participating in the Universities Chess Championship, which are five participating universities: Qatar University, Community College, Lusail University, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, and Doha University of Science and Technology, which was scheduled to start on Thursday, October 3, 2024, according to the Federation’s calendar, for male students at Qatar Foundation, and Sunday, October 6, 2024, for female students at Community College. Accordingly, the regulations and laws for the championship were discussed, which the Qatar Federation adopted this season for the first time.
